Click to learn more about ebankHeadquartered in Atlanta, GA, ebank was faced with a rather significant dilemma as Fivetwenty became involved with them: What is the most effective way to deal with a website application that is built upon a platform that is no longer supported? ebank's original solution was built upon a proprietary product developed by a company that was no longer in business at the time. Faced with what would have been huge costs to scrap the old system and start over, ebank contacted Fivetwenty for some ideas.

Fivetwenty worked very hard to provide ebank with a fresh design and manageable solution all while staying on par with their budget. The end result was in fact a complete replacement to their old system and ebank had no problems shifting to the standard technologies that we used on the project.

In keeping with our goals to rise above our customer's expectations, Fivetwenty added in some key management tools that allow ebank to keep their site current. We had to assume that when dealing with banking products and the ongoing shift in interest rates that it was important to make sure ebank could update their site without a hassle. We accomplished this task by narrowing management function down to individual rate tables and ebank was very pleased with these functions, "so much easier" they said upon first use.

Lastly it was important to consider ADA requirements due to ebank's nature of being a federally regulated institution and simply to be considerate of all Internet users. Due to the use of modern design technologies to make the site visually stimulating, ebank opted for a text-only supplement that is a direct reflection of their graphical site. Any changes that are made to the content of the site will show up for the text-only users automatically: there are no extra steps for ebank to take nor the confusion of handling multiple copies of site content.

I began a dialogue with Fivetwenty Web Services, Inc. early in 2002 concerning two major challenges that I faced. The first was how to design and implement a new web design and the second was making it happen within my budgetary boundaries. Lance and his team did an exemplary job in providing me with various design scenarios to select from and gave me the opportunity to participate in certain design models. Fivetwenty also supplied me with a world-class web design at an extremely reasonable cost.

Mr. Steenson impressed me with not only his integrity, but also his work ethic and professionalism. All project milestones were met in a timely manner and more importantly, to my satisfaction. Fivetwenty also gave me key management tools that enable my team to maintain the site effectively. Another important objective concerning the redesign was in complying with ADA requirements. Lance and his team did an outstanding job of implementing a text-only version of the site that I feel surpasses comparisons with any that I have seen.

I am very proud of ebank’s new web design and I have received numerous compliments on the appearance and functionality. I can always count on Lance to meet and exceed my expectations. Thanks again Fivetwenty for a great job!
